Vipassana

Vipassana meditation means "seeing things as they really are." It is an ancient practice that helps purify the mind through self-observation. The practice teaches you to pay close and calm attention to your body’s sensations, thoughts, and emotions without judging them or attemps to change them.

During various retreats at Mont Soleil, this practice deeply transformed and continues to enrich my therapeutic work. Vipassana taught me the art of present, non-reactive listening - an important quality for creating a genuine welcoming space.

This ability to observe without judgment, developed through meditation, naturally influences how I support each person in their journey.

Vipassana also cultivates acceptance of impermanence - the understanding that all sensations, emotions, and mental states are transient. This insight fosters greater serenity in difficult moments and helps clients navigate their inner storms with less resistance.
